Autism
Autism is a form of neurodiversity that impacts how a person experiences the world. Each person with autism has unique strengths and challenges that affect how they communicate, socialize, play, and learn. Some people with autism may require significant support in their daily lives, while others need less support. Autism is a way of being different than others but not less than others. Autism is lifelong, and while it can be challenging for the child and their family, it can also bring great joy, creativity and innovation.
