The Children’s Program is located at the Wascana Rehabilitation Center (WRC) in Regina. At the Children’s Program, we use a family-centered approach while working with you and your child to understand their specific needs and goals.
Your child’s care team at WRC may include:
- Developmental pediatricians
- Psychologists
- Physical therapists (PT)
- Occupational therapists (OT)
- Speech language pathologists (SLP)
- Social workers
- Dietitians
- Exercise therapists
- Music therapist
- Equipment technicians
Specialists include neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, plastic surgeons and ENTs.
You do not need a referral for therapy services like physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy. A referral is required from a doctor to see any of our specialists. We work with your local therapy team to make sure your child’s needs are being met.
